Scaling phase

“Blue Ocean Technology has now gone from a phase with simultaneous focus on development/product customisations and deliveries to a more pure scaling phase with a strong focus on efficient production,” said chief executive Hans Runshaug.

“Thomas with his background and professionalism is a very important piece in our work to consolidate our position as a leading supplier of sludge treatment systems for aquaculture worldwide. Combined with the our new building/ headquarters being ready in the new year and our new ‘Sludgehammer’ system for intelligent sourcing, production and aftermarket, we are in a good position to grow profitably.”

Supply challenges

Blue Ocean Technology (BOT) said that with the global challenges facing delivery of components, efficient production and sourcing are of critical importance.

“I have always had an interest in industrial production and the opportunities posed by new technology in the recycling industry,” said Tveiten-Lewis.

“My work at Greensight convinced me about the importance of the circular economy in the future. The focus on discharge, as well as increasing prices, will push up requirements for efficient utilisation of resources generally.  It’s hugely nice to have this opportunity to join the BOT team, a company with incredibly skilled people, and exciting technology.”
